The C.F.S. series is one of Vortex's most well-known product lines, designed not only with sound quality in mind, but also as a fashion accessory to consider when selecting headphone cables. As a member of the C.F.S. series, Seraphina naturally inherits the family lineage of high color accuracy and stunning brilliance.

Seraphina not only inherits Lavinia's Shielded Twins Pair structure to effectively reduce external EMI through its shielding layer, but also incorporates Tiana's S-Z Multi Strand structure in its core. This design allows for increased signal conductivity and reduced impedance and signal attenuation, thereby improving signal transmission stability and efficiency. Additionally, the positive and negative poles are twisted together to minimize the proximity effect and skin effect within the core, resulting in a cleaner sound and a darker background.
Heritage and innovation
Seraphina utilizes the structural framework of Lavinia's Shielded Twins Pair and integrates the cutting-edge definition concept of Litz Type 9 (wherein the total AWG of the conductor and shielding layer are identical) to fabricate a distinctive and unparalleled structure known as the Ultra-Twins Pair, thereby augmenting the original foundation.
Ultra-Twins Pair
In the world of HiFi cables, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is one of the top insulating materials due to its excellent dielectric constant, which reduces the impact of the insulation layer on high frequencies while achieving a tighter low-frequency coherence.
Vortex uses technique of "air-injection" to create the insulation layer's outer skin using polyethylene. As 25% of the insulating material is air, the insulation layer even has a lower dielectric constant than PTFE, further reducing the accumulation of microcharges in the insulation material and making the high-frequency signal more accurate.
Japanese NUC "Air-Injection" Technology

In addition to using air-injected polyethylene for the main insulation of the core and twisting the positive and negative poles, Vortex has also added a damping layer for the first time to counteract external vibrations and take the already quiet background to the next level.

Internal damping has been widely used in HiFi applications due to its significant effects, but it is rarely seen in headphone cables due to limited cable diameter. Conductors already occupy a large percentage of the cross-sectional area, adding a damping layer significantly increases the difficulty of production and manufacturing.
Composite Insulation Damping

As the first overseas limited-edition cable, Seraphina not only focuses on tuning direction based on Effect Audio's ConX connectors, but also aims to create a headphone upgrade cable with higher three-frequency balance and adaptability within the C.F.S. series.

After balancing feedback from various users and partners, we decided to use 6N OCC single crystal copper with silver plating as the main core material, further enhancing the overall three-frequency balance and resolution.
